Day visit to Copeland Bird Observatory (Lighthouse Island) as part of the Donaghadee Summer Festival on Saturday 15th August 2026. Then please fill in the online form at the link below with your details:
Copeland Bird Observatory – Booking form
Due to expected demand, bookings are limited to 1 person and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited to 11 individuals on the boat.
At present the arrangements are as follows:
The boat will leave Donaghadee Harbour at 09:30am sharp and will arrive at Copeland Bird Observatory (Lighthouse Island) at circa 10:15am.
One of Copeland Bird Observatory’s Duty Officers will provide those who have successfully booked with a tour of the Island and the Observatory’s activities.
The boat will leave Copeland Bird Observatory (Lighthouse Island) at 13:30pm sharp and will arrive at Donaghadee Harbour at circa 14:15pm.
Please note that due to weather and availability, it is possible that boat times will change or that the boat may be cancelled at short notice.
Individuals who have successfully booked a place on the trip will be contacted by Copeland Bird Observatory with further information.
