Hosted by celebrity chef Jenny Bristow, the contest required five finalists to cook a classic Ulster Fry of bacon, sausages, eggs, potato farls and soda bread on Saturday morning before spectators.
McKee’s Country Store and Restaurant just outside Newtownards was awarded the accolade as part of the first ever Ulster Fry World Championships at the Donaghadee Summer Festival.
The farm shop impressed judges with their use of locally-sourced ingredients.
The five contenders were McKee’s, Sugarcane Café Bistro of Belfast, The Stormy Cup of Donaghadee, BB’s Bites from Carrowdore, and Makin’ Bacon in Donaghcloney.
